I apologize as there will be no actual article before gametime today. I’ve been under the weather all week and haven’t had much time outside of class and sleeping to muster up anything. Anyway:

I didn’t tweet out my Thursday night score, but I did read all of these scores off on the Prime Time Sports Guys shows on 90.5 WERG. Be sure to check it out every Thursday from 6-9pm on http://www.wergfm.com

I’m also gonna start adding an extremely brief synopsis of why I picked each score.

REDSKINS AT GIANTS

Eli’s got something to prove after saying he wants to be the highest paid quarterback in the League

Giants win 24-13

FALCONS AT COWBOYS

Romo and Bryant are out… So are the Cowboys

Falcons win 27-17

COLTS AT TITANS

Andrew Luck has used his monthly allowance of turnovers, and Marcus Mariota needs to prove himself. Expect the veteran status to win this one.

Colts 24-17

RAIDERS AT BROWNS

This could go either way, but I don’t believe in any Browns quarterback. The Raiders Offense looked good against the Raivens

Raiders win 21-10

BENGALS AT RAVENS

This game will truly determine if Joe Flacco has an ounce of “elite” left in him this season; I don’t think he does.

Bengals 20-14

JAGUARS AT PATRIOTS

Really?

Patriots 42-21

SAINTS AT PANTHERS

Jonathon Stewart and Fozzy Whitaker will have big games if they play (both questionable) Chance Drew Brees does not play (also questionable), so that gives the edge to the Panthers.

Panthers 24-17

EAGLES AT JETS

Jet’s defense looks impressive being the first time since the ’92 Steelers to force 10+ turnovers in the first two games.. They’ll get to Sam Bradford

14-10

BUCCANEERS AT TEXANS

Jameis is continuing to improve… He’ll learn he can actually throw to Mike Evans this week after Evans recorded 0 catches last week

Bucs 17-7

CHARGERS AT VIKINGS

Adrian Peterson is back, but Phillip Rivers is going to be himself and put up at least 2 TD’s; Peterson won’t be able to do it all on his own.

Chargers 24-13

STEELERS AT RAMS

Le’Veon Bell is back. I don’t see many losses from here on out, even with a solid Rams Defense that has something to prove after the loss against Washington last week. 48 points last week without Le’Veon? LOOK OUT

38-21 Steelers

49ERS AT CARDINALS

Carson Palmer is and will continue to be the most underrated QB of this season and will just keep dropping bombs. 49ers are crumbling already

42-24 Cardinals

BILLS AT DOLPHINS
Both team’s defenses are still waking up, but I don’t expect much of a real high scoring game. Shady will run all over the underachieving Miami D-line

Bills 24-16

BEARS AT SEAHAWKS

There is absolutely no way the Seahawks will start out 0-3. Russell Wilson will not let that happen. Plus the Bears just aren’t that good even with a healthy Jay Cutler; Alshon Jeffrey may also be out

35-10 Seahawks

BRONCOS AT LIONS

Lions are allowing a whopping 416.5 yards per game; even with the Broncos being last in the league in total offense, I don’t think Peyton will be the one to get this done. Look for the defense to shine.

21-13 Broncos

CHIEFS AT PACKERS

Aaron Rodgers may be the best quarterback in the NFL right now. Don’t expect his streak at Lambeau to end tonight.

Rodgers Since Last Home INT

Games  17 Pass att 512 Pass TD  41

28-17
